The Halloween season is filled with prepackaged candies. This year, make something spooky to celebrate. A batch of homemade Mummy Pretzels will make everyone happy.
Having a bowl of these sweet and salty snacks are so much better than a bowl of candies. I mean c’mon, look how much unique personality each one has!
Make a batch and leave them on the counter and they’ll be gone by the end of the day. They’re so delicious you’ll be snagging one everytime you walk past them!

You can challenge them to figure out how to cover the pretzels in the melted chocolate by using only two forks. Further, they follow through by personalizing each mummy with the candy eyes using their imagination!

- Candy eyes
You may need a dollop of coconut oil, but you can definitely get away with omitting it.

Halloween Mummy Pretzels
Ingredients
- 30 Pretzels
- 1 Cup White Chocolate Chips
- 60 Candy Eyes
- 1 Teaspoon Coconut Oil Optional
Instructions
- Add a sheet of wax paper to a baking sheet and set aside.
- Add 1/2 cup white chocolate chips and [optional] coconut oil to a bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. There may be some pieces that are still intact. Keep stirring. The warmth will thoroughly melt everything evenly.
- Use two forks to even cover each pretzel with white chocolate and remove it from the bowl. Place on wax paper.
- Place 1-2 candy eyeballs on each piece before it hardens. Repeat until chocolate is gone then reheat additional chocolate. Continue until you have your desired amount of mummy pretzels.
- Place filled baking sheet in fridge or freezer until hard. Enjoy!
