Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a muffin tin with nonstick spray and place in muffin liners. Set aside.
In a medium bowl combine mashed banana, pumpkin puree, egg, maple syrup, canola oil, and vanilla extract. Set aside.
In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Slowly combine wet ingredients into the large bowl of dry ingredients.
Fill the muffin tin ¾ of the way full with muffin mixture. Cook in oven for 20-23 minutes, or until a toothpick can be inserted into the middle and come out clean.
Notes
Be careful to not overbake the muffins; this will result in a dry muffin!
