There’s really only 2 main ingredients for this recipe, but there’s a couple others that may add to it. In addition, olive oil, salt, and pepper can be utilized.
How to Make Hot Honey Brussel Sprouts
This is a very simple recipe.
Simply clean your brussel sprout, chop off the stem and slice them in half, then coat with hot honey. If you want to add any other seasonings, do so at this point as well.
Pop them in the oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes, and you’re golden.
I love a crispy hot honey brussel sprout. If you don’t, be sure to take them out of the oven a bit early.
This recipe makes brussel sprouts that are very crispy on the exterior yet still maintain their shape. Some prefer to cook their brussel sprouts then broil them to a crisp.
If you want to go this route, cook the sprouts at 350 for about 30 minutes then move the baking sheet to the top rung of the oven and change the temperature to a high broil. Be sure to watch them- they’ll char fast!

Hot Honey Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 Pound Brussel Sprouts
- 1 Tablespoon Hot Honey Add more for additional spice
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil Optional
- Salt and Pepper Optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Clean brussel sprouts and remove stem. Cut in half lengthwise.
- Place brussel sprouts into a medium bowl. Add hot honey. If you want to also add olive oil and salt and pepper, now it the time. Use a spoon to coat the sprouts evenly.
- Place brussel sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Cooke for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway, for a crispy result. If you want less crispy brussel sprouts check remove after 15 minutes.
