Making a batch of Ham Pinwheels only requires a few ingredients, albeit, you likely don’t have them on-hand.
- Boiled Ham
- Spring Onions
- Cream Cheese
How To Make Ham Pinwheels
To start making these, you want to get your cream cheese out and allow it to soften as soon as you can. Making a batch of Ham Pinwheels takes about a half hour, so ensure you have the time set aside!
Take a slice of ham and lightly tap it with a piece of paper towel. This allows for the cream cheese to spread more easily. Take a heavy glob of cream cheese and spread a thick layer across the entirety of the slice of ham.
Next, place a spring onion on top and tightly roll the two together. Now, slice the large rolled combo into about 6-8 smaller pieces.
Ta-da! Repeat and you’ll soon have a hundred little ham pinwheel snacks pieces!

Simple Ham Pinwheels Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Pounds Boiled Ham 1/8th inch thick
- 1-2 Containers Cream cheese
- 10-15 Spring Onions
Instructions
- Set out your cream cheese to allow it to begin to soften. Start by washing your hands and your spring onions.
- Lay out a piece of ham. Pat it with a piece of paper towel to dry it off. Grab a smear of cream cheese and spread it across the entirety of the piece of ham. Make this as thick as you desire.
- Cut the tip of the bulb off. Place the rest of the spring onion on the cream cheese covered ham. Tightly roll the items together.
- Cut the ham wrapped spring onion into about 6-8 smaller pieces, depending on your desired thickness.
- Store in the fridge until ready to eat. Be sure to not leave them on the table, unrefrigerated too long!
