These protein donuts with make you a believer in having donuts for breakfast everyday! They have warm cinnamon baked throughout and are drizzled with chocolate to create the ultimate healthy…ish treat!
Baked donuts are the newest best way to have homemade donuts. They’re super simple so you have have a warm donut whenever you want!
I used a donut pan to get a nice round shape but if you don’t care about the look you can always shape them into circles on a baking sheet and allow them to bake into any shape they become. No matter what they look like they’ll be delicious.
The Protein in Protein Donuts
You can use any of your favorite protein to customize the recipe to your likings but keep in mind that depending on the amount of grams in it will alter the resulting donut. I used Vital Proteins unflavored collagen. You can find it on Amazon, the Vital Proteins website, and Whole Foods.
If you’ve never heard of collagen and want to know a little more before you buy a tub of it, you can read my article describing all the basics that you need to know!
