If you feel like baking but have too many sweets on your counter already try opting for bagels instead! They are UNBELIEVABLY EASY with minimal ingredients. This recipe makes 6 bagels, so you may want to triple it so they last more than a day in your house!
White Chocolate Cherry Bagels
Ingredients
- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 Cup Dried Cherries
- 1 Cup Greek Yogurt Plain
- 1 TSP Baking Soda
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Mix together flour, cherries, and baking soda.
- Slowly mix in yogurt by adding small quantities at a time.
- Cover your clean surface with flour.
- Divide your dough into 6 equal pieces.
- Roll eat piece out and fold into circles (make sure there is ample flour on the surface and your hands so it does not stick to either!).
- Transfer to baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 17-20 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- Mix Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha creamer with 1 tablespoon of melted butter and coat tops of bagels before putting in the oven. Put a second coat on and sprinkle with flaked salt when there is 2 minutes of baking remaining. The creamer gives them a slight chocolate favor without it being overwhelming. The butter and salt just makes them more delicious (we all can agree with this).
- You can change up the flavors by using other add-ins besides cherries. You can also switch up the flavor by adding different toppings and spices after slathering them in butter!
-
Using a donut mold may make for a more attractive bagel but shaping them by hand is easy too!
- You can purchase these at most Home Goods stores and on Amazon
