Ham Pinwheels Ingredients

Making a batch of Ham Pinwheels only requires a few ingredients, albeit, you likely don’t have them on-hand.

  • Boiled Ham
  • Spring Onions
  • Cream Cheese

How To Make Ham Pinwheels

To start making these, you want to get your cream cheese out and allow it to soften as soon as you can. Making a batch of Ham Pinwheels takes about a half hour, so ensure you have the time set aside!

Take a slice of ham and lightly tap it with a piece of paper towel. This allows for the cream cheese to spread more easily. Take a heavy glob of cream cheese and spread a thick layer across the entirety of the slice of ham.

Next, place a spring onion on top and tightly roll the two together. Now, slice the large rolled combo into about 6-8 smaller pieces.

Ta-da! Repeat and you’ll soon have a hundred little ham pinwheel snacks pieces!

Different Variations

There are SO MANY different ways you can customize these to your personal tastes.

  • Replace the spring onion with a pickle
  • Use a flavored cream cheese
  • Add a sprinkle of cheese to the cream cheese spread
  • Add herbs and spices

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pounds Boiled Ham 1/8th inch thick
  • 1-2 Containers Cream cheese
  • 10-15 Spring Onions

Instructions
 

  • Set out your cream cheese to allow it to begin to soften. Start by washing your hands and your spring onions.
  • Lay out a piece of ham. Pat it with a piece of paper towel to dry it off. Grab a smear of cream cheese and spread it across the entirety of the piece of ham. Make this as thick as you desire.
  • Cut the tip of the bulb off. Place the rest of the spring onion on the cream cheese covered ham. Tightly roll the items together.
  • Cut the ham wrapped spring onion into about 6-8 smaller pieces, depending on your desired thickness.
  • Store in the fridge until ready to eat. Be sure to not leave them on the table, unrefrigerated too long!

Buffalo Chicken Dip with Greek Yogurt Ingredients

Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip with Greek Yogurt is packed with flavor and nutrition, yet only requires five basic ingredients!

Chicken: Use fresh chicken breast for the best results!

Ranch Seasoning: This gives the recipe all the flavor as if there were an entire bottle of Ranch dressing without out the added calories and fat!

Greek Yogurt: There’s no cream cheese in this recipe, so the greek yogurt is vital! It makes the dip creamy and adds a punch of protein!

Cheddar Cheese: Cheese is personal. I used a cup and sprinkled to my hearts desire on top, but that could be different from what you like.

Buffalo Sauce: Use any brand you prefer but I use Sweet Baby Ray’s. It is flavorful yet not too spicy. If you want some extra spice add in a few shakes of Frank’s Red Hot!

Buffalo Chicken Dip without Cream Cheese

Cream cheese has always been a staple to a creamy and delicious batch of buffalo chicken dip, until now! This recipe utilizes greek yogurt and removes the cream cheese entirely!

Cream cheese tends to be higher in calories and fat than greek yogurt. That’s why this swap makes for a healthier and dietitian approved dip! It also creates the creamy texture buffalo dip is known for. Good thing greek yogurt is also creamy!

Another reason I love that this recipe uses greek yogurt instead of cream cheese is the convenience factor! First off, it is 10x more likely I have plain greek yogurt in my fridge than cream cheese. Secondly, you need to allow cream cheese to soften in order to work with it. Greek yogurt is always ready to use!

How to Make Buffalo Chicken Dip with Greek Yogurt

This dip is easy! There are two main steps and only takes about 30 minutes (which is mainly just cooking time!).

Start by boiling your chicken. Add the breasts to a pot, fill with water, and cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees fahrenheit.

Next, shred it up and begin to preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Then, add all the ingredients to your casserole dish and pop it in the oven for 15 minutes!

All that there is left to do is decide how you’ll enjoy it!

Tasty Pairings

The usual go-to for Buffalo Chicken Dip with Greek Yogurt would be tortilla chips but there are TONS of other items you can pair with it!

Some common items to pick are:

  • Celery sticks
  • Crackers
  • Carrot sticks
  • Pretzels

That’s right! This healthy and delicious appetizer only requires 3 ingredients!

How to Make Stuffed Dates

Making these stuffed dates with cream cheese and pistachios is a breeze!

Start by removing the pit from your medjools dates. If you want to skip this step you can easily purchase pitted dates.

I buy Natural Delights medjool dates. Sadly, I do not have a coupon for you but they are available in most grocery stores or on Amazon. I have never encountered a bad batch so they have my trust!

Once the pit is removed you can throw it away. You don’t want it ending up back in the date- YUCK! Next, stuff the date with Laughing Cow cheese. I found each date is filled using about 1/3-1/2 of a triangle serving. Fill to your desired love of cheese!

It’s now time to crush th pistachios. In my opinion, this is the most difficult step of the process! Open about 15 pistachios (for 6 stuffed dates) and seperate the shell from the nut meat.

Now, crush the pistachio. This can be done in a number of ways. I place them in a plastic bag and lightly close it, so some air can still escape. Then push a rolling pin over them until they are to a size you would like.

Finally, take you cream cheese stuffed date and roll the exposed portion of cheese onto the crushed pistachios. The nuts will stick to the cream cheese and stay intact.

There’s really only 2 main ingredients for this recipe, but there’s a couple others that may add to it. In addition, olive oil, salt, and pepper can be utilized.

How to Make Hot Honey Brussel Sprouts

This is a very simple recipe.

Simply clean your brussel sprout, chop off the stem and slice them in half, then coat with hot honey. If you want to add any other seasonings, do so at this point as well.

Pop them in the oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes, and you’re golden.

I love a crispy hot honey brussel sprout. If you don’t, be sure to take them out of the oven a bit early.

This recipe makes brussel sprouts that are very crispy on the exterior yet still maintain their shape. Some prefer to cook their brussel sprouts then broil them to a crisp.

If you want to go this route, cook the sprouts at 350 for about 30 minutes then move the baking sheet to the top rung of the oven and change the temperature to a high broil. Be sure to watch them- they’ll char fast!

What to Serve With Hot Honey Brussel Sprouts

Hot Honey Brussel Sprout is an awesome side dish to serve. They are easy to make, packed with flavor, and kind of healthy!

  • Place brussel sprouts into a medium bowl. Add hot honey. If you want to also add olive oil and salt and pepper, now it the time. Use a spoon to coat the sprouts evenly.

  • Cooke for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway, for a crispy result. If you want less crispy brussel sprouts check remove after 15 minutes.

This easy Layered BLT Dip is a must for your next get together. Imagine the American classic BLT sandwich with a side of chips, but better. Use your favorite sides to scoop a BLT style dip!

A Classic BLT

Do you know what a BLT is?

A BLT is a classic American sandwich with bacon, lettuce, and tomato. It’s usually a sandwich with mayo but everyone has their own ways of having it.

Just as it sounds, it is a pretty basic sandwich but the combination of the textures and flavors pull it all together well.

This dip plays off the idea of a BLT but of course I needed to add cheese because… cheese.

Also, I swapped the mayo for a mixture of sour cream and cream cheese. This combination still gives the same creamy addition as mayo but it is much more palatable for being a base.

Layered BLT Dip Ingredients

This simple and easy layered BLT Dip only has a few common ingredients, making it perfect for an on the fly appetizer!

  • Cream cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Colby jack cheese
  • Tomato
  • Lettuce
  • Bacon bits
  • Ranch and garlic seasoning

Most of these ingredients are common fridge staples. If not, your closest market is sure to have them in stock!

What To Pair With Your Layered BLT Dip

Make Layered BLT Dip as the star and surround it with anything you love! Because a classic crinkle chip pairs perfectly with a BLT I thought it was only fitting to use them for dipping.

If you don’t want to use a potato chip for dipping some other ideas are tortilla chips, naan dippers, baguette, or some crostini! Any or all of these would hold up well to this hefty dip.

You can even go a lighter route and pair it with some veggies. Crinkle cut carrot chips would make dipping fun!

  • 8 Ounces Cream Cheese (1 block)
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
  • 2/3 Cup Colby Jack Cheese Shredded
  • 1 Cup Lettuce Chopped
  • 1 Whole Tomato Diced
  • 2/3 Cup Bacon Bits
  • 1 Packet Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl add your block of cream cheese. If it is coming directly from the refrigerator microwave it for 15-30 seconds to make it spreadable.
  • To the same bowl add in sour cream, ranch seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Add this mixture to bowl or plate you will be serving the Layered BLT Dip on.
  • Cover top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, then bacon bits.

  • Be sure to refrigerate when not being eaten and any leftovers

This dip is the ultimate savory appetizer that will surprise your guests when you tell them it’s gluten-free!

How To Make Dijon Dip

This will be the easiest dish at the party! You can whip this dip up in a matter of minutes.

In a bowl combine:

  • Mayonnaise
  • Dijon mustard
  • Horseradish

That’s it!

You can top it with some freshly chopped green onion for a pop of color or sprinkle it with bacon bits and shredded cheese for some next-level savory flavor.

Can I Change The Ingredients?

I used Duke’s Light Mayonnaise, Gulden’s Stone Ground Dijon Mustard, and Hengstenberg Horseradish.

You can use any variety or mayonaise, mustard, and horseradish that you have or perfer!

A different brand may result in a slightly different flavor but you’ll still end up with a relatively similar dip.

You can even play with the ratio of ingredients to make this dip perfect for you!

If you want it to be a little less creamy and tart than reduce the amount of mayo and increase the mustard! If your first attempt doesn’t work, no fear! This isn’t a baked good. You can continually add ingredients until you find the perfect dip!

What to Pair with Your Dijon Dip

This is the perfect dip to lay on a table as it pairs perfectly with anything savory. Plus, a small amount goes a long way so you can stock up on the pairings! If you couldn’t tell my personal favorite to have with the dijon dip are pretzels!

Some other items you can set out with it are:

  • Crackers
  • Celery
  • Carrots
  • Bacon strips
  • Tortilla chips

This is a perfect dip but it can be a two-for-one deal, too! Add it on roasted potatoes, smear it on a cheeseburger, drizzle it on some roasted veggies. You really can use it any way you want!

These are best eaten right from the air fryer. Reheating will leave them limp and tasteless. If you would like to prepare them ahead of time you can slice them up and finish them up when you are ready to eat!

Dips

You definitely don’t NEED a dip to go along with the Air Fryer Zucchini Bites but I do have a few suggestions if you’d like:

  • Marinara
  • Chipotle mayo
  • Ranch
  • Hummus

Tips For Zucchini Bites Best Results

  1. To get the best results you will want to start by trying your best to slice each evenly. This way when they cook they will each come out the same.
  2. The salt pulls out the water in the zucchini. Then, you use the towel to remove this liquid. You want to ensure you get as much liquid from them so they get even more crispy.
  3. An even olive oil coat is important because this is how the cheese mixture will stick to the bite. We all want as much cheese as possible so be sure to not skimp on the oil!

Add A Dip!

You really don’t need to add anything to make a delicious snack but if you’re wanting a dip try the good ole’ classic ranch dressing, garlic hummus or make a serving of my Greek Yogurt and Herb Dip!

Careful though! If you don’t have your dip ready to go when the bites come out of the air fryer you may end up snacking on them all before you have your dip prepped!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Zucchini
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 Cup Parrmesan Cheese
  • 1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Wash your zucchini then slice into 1/4 inch coins.
  • Sprinkle salt on coins. Pat dry once liquid has been drawn out. Flip over and repeat.
  • In a bowl combine parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Drizzle olive oil on zucchini then sprinkle on parmesan mixture.
  • Add to air fryer and cook at 390 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 minutes.

Cheese, Please!

This mini bell pepper popper appetizer isn’t for cheese hater. It’s backed with cream cheese, shredded cheese, AND topped with even more! In the recipe I don’t specify what type of shredded cheese to use. That’s because everyone has majorly different preferences, and I want YOU to pick your favorite. I used colby jack. Another good one would be pepper jack. It would add a touch a spice, if you’re into that.

The Perfect Appetizer

What appetizer could be better than one that is irresistibly pop-able, easy to share, and absolutely delicious?! You can remake them then pop them in the oven right before serving so you don’t have to spend all your time in the kitchen instead of mingling with your guests. Pair it with an array of dips like sour cream, salsa, or guacamole and your guests will never want to leave!

Mini Bell Pepper Poppers

The perfect bell pepper appetizer that provides sustenance but will still having you want to keep popping 'just one more' in!

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 Pound Ground beef
  • 2 Teaspoons Taco seasoning
  • 1 Pound Mini bell peppers
  • 1/2 Cup Black Beans
  • 1/2 Cup Corn
  • 1 and 1/2 Ounce Cream cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheese split
  • 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder

Instructions
 

  • Start by browning your beef in a pan. Once done add the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Mix it in over heat.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grab a baking sheet.
  • Wash your mini bell pepper and slice in half vertically. Remove seeds and any large veins.
  • In a medium sized bowl combine your cooked beef, beans, corn, cream cheese, 1/2 cup of your shredded cheese, and chili powder.
  • Use a spoon to add your mixture to each bell pepper then place on baking sheet. Repeat until mixture is gone.
  • Bake in oven for 12 minutes.
  • Add the remaining cheese and broil on high for 2 additional minutes.
  • Serve warm.
