How to Cube Sweet Potatoes
In order to ensure your sweet potatoes are cooked evenly throughout your entire batch, you want to make sure they are all similar in size and shape. Sweet potatoes are easier to cut if they are a bit softer. Poke a couple holes in the potatoes and place them in the microwave for a minute. This will make them MUCH easier to cube.
Using a sharp knife, cut the potato in half lengthwise. Next, place the flat edge down on the cutting board. Now, make lengthwise slices in the width you would like. Once all of your potato is sliced up, turn them 180 degrees and slice again! They will now be in your desired cube shape.
